Yes all of "AAWA's" misgivings have been well covered on this forum. While the actions you described above are certainly distasteful and not at all appreciated by the entire ExJW community, they still are not acts of aggression in the face of JWs as the video posted on this thread was.

You still may know nothing about AAWA because this video has nothing to do with AAWA. Stupid thread title.

When AAWA board members and volunteers are blogging against "aggressive activism" it is quite clear this is not "AAWA activists" in the posted video. Sure anyone can download AAWA flyers and do whatever they want with them. But the blokes in the video are not AAWA volunteers nor are the flyers they are passing out AAWA flyers.
Now if you want to make this totally unrelated video an AAWA issue and an occasion to bring up well covered disdain for AAWA, well that's your prerogative.

How would you respond to this defense made on behalf of The Watchtower's Child Abuse lawsuits?
by adjusted knowledge indetails of the society's child abuse policies have been published in jehovah's witnesses' publications, although more specific guidelines are only made available to elders, or on request.
press releases issued by the watch tower society's office of public information confirm that if a person accused of molestation repeatedly denies the charges of his victim, and there is no other witness to the incident, "the elders cannot take action within the congregation at that time", but would report to authorities if required by local laws.
our families jehovahs witnesses and child protection.

Until elders report all suspected or asserted allegations of child sex abuse immediately and directly to law enforcement no amount of words will excuse them. End of story.

There is no need to second guess the grand jury. It is what it is. But it has to be acknowledged that 8 of them may have wanted to indict. That's the point I'm making.
Reminds me of the 2/3 majority vote of the Governing Body to change Watchtower policy Ray Franz illustrated.

That means 8 could have been saying "indict" and it still could not happen. Or all 12 said "no". We will never know.
